While we all know fashion in a sense and all have an idea of what goes together do we really know fashion. An industry that is always growing and changing for better and for worse that changes every year with new pieces and accessories to make or break outfits, while we all know everything we don’t really know anything. Today I want to talk to you about something simple something we all have an opinion about and if you don’t know well that’s a problem but now you will. Nike and Adidas both fantastic shoe companies that have had fans for your and participate in your favorite sports such as Futbol “American Soccer”, Basketball, Golf, Tennis and a plethora of other sports these two companies you are inevitably going to run into. Now when it comes to fashion you have a wide variety of clothes to choose from in regards to each brand, but I see to often which should never be done is the mixing of Checks and Stripes, it just doesn’t look good. Like when you are wearing a suit you should never mix your plaids with your stripes the same goes for these two brands. What I see too often is the wearing of Adidas track pants, the ones with the three stripes down the leg, with a pair of Nikes on feet. Now I understand if you “don’t care”, but if you call yourself a person interested in fashion you should know never to mix the two, it’s just not a good look. A few reasons is because while you may not know this, but the two companies are rivals and youshould wear a fit with both brands. Another interesting thing that goes without saying to never tuck your sweat pants into your socks. I don’t know who started this trend… It was probably Kanye, but it is an incredibly ugly look. With leggings or yoga pants it is understandable because of the whole thin pant sock situation and how it would look underneath but sweat pants are thick and you putting your socks over is not okay. Most times they look like a fat ball above your ankle and are uneven making you look sloppy. Why I mention this is because while I see this and can’t do much about it what I see a lot which is also a big no is the Adidas shoes with the Nike socks showing. The socks are officially incorporated into the whole outfit and while mostly done by “hypebeasts” who don’t know any better it’s a god awful look. PLEASE DON’T MIX NIKE WITH ADIDAS AND VICE VERSA.
